About 20 years ago, our mother bought an uninhabited ruin. The original farmhouse, built in the early 20th century, sheltered animals on the ground floor with people living on the floor above. Georgina’s vision was to have a place where future generations could enjoy summers and holidays together, creating a sanctuary where families scattered around the world could once again gather. Once the house was restored and modernised, the family spent vacations at this “home away from home”, awaiting the arrival of their children, grandchildren, and the many long-standing friends that regularly come to visit. Over the years we have made many beautiful memories in this magical place in Umbria.

In 2017, we began letting the house to guests who want to explore what Umbria has to offer. The house’s location makes it an ideal base from which to visit many Umbrian and Tuscan hill towns and to sample this region's gastronomy and wines. All the while, perched on its sunny hillside, the house makes a wonderful refuge at the end of a day of sightseeing, or even for those who want to do nothing at all. We try to make sure that our guests feel at home so they can spend quality time with friends and family. The house continues to be used as a much-loved family destination and we ourselves visit at different times of the year. Our aim is that our guests come to love it as much as we do.
